E-mail Lookup
-------------
Communicate rapidly with your project team using e-mail lookup when you send a chart, a To-Do list or an alert that an action step has been assigned.
1) Create an e-mail within the Alisar Charting application.
2) Press the [Look-up E-mail] button and indicate recipients for to:, cc:, and bcc: categories.
Note: This look-up only lists e-mail for Licensed and Non-licensed Participants in your Alisar database, but you can easily copy and paste other e-mail addresses into the message from your Outlook address book.
Remember that only Licensed Participants can access the chart URL (the http://..... address) in an e-mail you send.
'Timely Tips'

Tracking Decisions
------------------
Recently, one of our users asked how they could track decisions in Alisar Charting. They recognized that some of the decisions in their charts were critical and they wanted to be able to easily locate them. We came up with two methods:
1. Simply insert the word DECISION at the beginning of the Action step. I like this in all caps to make it more visible to those reviewing the chart. Use the Search Function on the Chart List View to find all the action steps that include the word: 'DECISION".
2. Create DECISION as a Keyword. Keywords allow you to sort by Keyword at the Chart List view. The 'key' to key words is to consistently use the same word to indicate a category. The Keyword field is located in the upper right of each chart - look for the diamond.

Planning Holiday Events with Alisar Charting

Yes, it's early! September is only half over, but, I actually got my first TWO holiday catalogues TODAY!!!
A great use for Alisar Charting is to plan your holiday event, office party or family celebration. Gather your event planning team and pop open the Chart wizard. Ask yourselves this question: As event participants are leaving, what will they say/think/do that indicates the event was a success!?!
For a family celebration, include your family members (kids too) in the conversation. How will each of you know it was the event that you wanted?
Once you've identified the End Result/Goal, move on to Current Reality! Then create the action steps!

Coaching Remotely
